My Personal Experience in Baguio City
Hello everyone! I'am Karen Claire Gatchalian, one of the blogger in this blog. I just want to share my personal experience in Baguio City. The pictures was taken 4 years ago. (hehe)
Baguio City, is one of my memorable vacation. Even we only stay for 3 days. The trip is very tiring because of its zigzag road. The first thing I want to saw is the fog. After we got check-in, we delivered Chicken Joy from Jollibee and I'm shocked because it's bigger than in Cavite.
Our first destination is at the wright park, since it is nearest in our hotel that is the first place we visited. They are some vendors who sells "strawberry taho" even it is cost for 20 pesos in a cup, I didn't missed a chance to taste the one of the famous food in Baguio. In front of wright park you will see "the mansion" that is really good for picture taking. Our second destination, the bell church I don't remember so much in that place but when we enter in bell church I noticed that it is a china theme. Im not sure because it's already 4 years ago! The bell church is kinda high cause I spotted the houses that located in the mountains.
Our third destination is at the Camp John Hay, this is the first time I tried the horseback riding. At first, I was really scared because I'm afraid that the horse might run fast. Thank God there's a man that will guide the horse if you are a first timer. I observed that there are some who really knows how to ride a house. And I also observed how horse pee, and that is quite funny.
After the third destination, we need to go back in our hotel. My cousisns start to tell scary story about baguio while were on our way back in the hotel. The tall pine tress got me scarier when it's already midnight our surrounding becomes very cold that makes me even more scarier.
In the next morning we continue our vacation, the fourth destination is at the La Trinidad Benguet. This is the most exciting part for me because we came at the strawberry farm and we are the one who picked the strawberry! Our last destination is at the Good Shephered Convent, where we buy our pasalubongs for our family and friends. I really loved their products especially the Ube Jam, Strawberry Jam, and the Lengua de Gato.
I don't remember all the places we visited. But I think that we didn't visit all the tourist spot because we only spent 3 days and that is not enough I guess to travel in Baguio City.
Travel to the Summer Capital of the Philippines, the Baguio City! Escape the cool breeze and admire the arts of Cordillera region ;)
